The art rock band Henry Cow was a pioneer in what we would call today ‘difficult listening music.’ They mixed rock dynamics with 20th century classical influences to create music that was harmonically rich and rhythmically complex, yet melodic

This Listening Club episode, curated by Michael Feathers, will feature a few choice selections by Henry Cow and then a number of works by bands that carried their adventurous vision forward
