The Inlets Ensemble presents a sympathetic pair of musical works by Peter Ablinger and Antoine Beuger for classical guitars and voices. This program investigates the intersection between spoken word, song, listening, silence, and instrumental musings. INSTRUMENT & VOICE (2008/13) by Peter Ablinger presents a unique performance environment through a series of contemplative exchanges between speaker and instrumentalist. WE ARE VOICES (2013) by Antoine Beuger finds the two instrumentalists freely navigating a collection of text fragments, melodies, and other musical materials to present a pensive musical soundscape
