JOSE HERNANDEZ SANCHEZ
A nearby explosion, classical music, a conversation, a piece of sound art all involve our sense of hearing but each one engages us in a different way. And in the music of Jose Hernandez Sanchez, electronic sounds, noises, samples and a variety of new and traditional computer music techniques are combined to induce some of these different types of engagement states within a single composition.
JACOB SUDOL
Jacob David Sudol’s music uses electronic and computational means to allow listeners to explore various acoustic and psycho-acoustic phenomena in intimate poetic and new ritualistic environments. He is currently Assistant Professor of Music Technology and Composition and the Coordinator of Music Technology area at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. His works have been performed through the USA, Canada, England, Germany, and Taiwan.
